Eco Club

The present pace of reckless development has raised questions about the sustainability of mankind. In order to raise awareness among the students, the eco club was established in the Government Degree College Sugh-Bhatoli. This club empowers students to participate in environmentally friendly activities. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents and neighbourhood communities to promote sound environmental behaviour.

Objectives of the Club

• 1. Motivate students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking tree plantation drives.
• 2. Develop skills of observation, experimentation, survey, recording, analysis, and reasoning needed for conserving the environment through activities.
• 3. Promote the ethos of conservation and sustainable use of the environment.
• 4. Mobilize action against environmentally unsound practices like garbage disposal in unauthorized places and unsafe disposal of hospital wastes.
