In compliance to the orders of the Director of Higher Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh, a Road Safety Club was constituted in the Government Degree College ,Sugh-Bhatoli on dated 06/01/2022. The main aim of the Club was to enhance the awareness about various issues of road safety among students and society so as to minimize accidents and loss of lives on account of road accidents. Also, the students who learn about various aspects of road safety are expected to make others aware about the importance of road safety so that the message can be spread in all walks of life. In this way everybody will make road safety and its various rules a way of life.

To make the Club vibrant and a source of information and knowledge for students, various aspects of road safety were deliberated at length among staff members and it was decided that various activities would be performed at the level of students so that they could learn about road safety through an interactive and participative process. As a first step , thirty students were selected as members of the Road Safety Club but in the current session all students are club's member.
